As a Licensed Professional Counselor with a love for helping others through her work, in her role at Noonday, Shannon combines her passion to help others with her adept counseling skills and extensive professional knowledge. Her constant hope is that following their time with her at Noonday, her clients will leave with a renewed sense of hope and purpose.

Experience

Shannon brings a wealth of experience working with teens, and with both younger and older adults. She has worked extensively with clients dealing with substance abuse issues in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She also has experience counseling individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, adjustment, trauma and life transitions.

Education

Along with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University, Shannon also obtained a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Personal

Shannon enjoys reading, blogging, journaling, and church, as well as spending time with her family and friends.
