As a board-certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner, Savanna is deeply committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals navigating mental health challenges. She believes in meeting people exactly where they are, creating a space where every client feels truly heard and understood. By taking a collaborative approach, Savanna works alongside her clients to find the treatment plan that best fits their unique needs—whether that includes medication, individual counseling, occupational therapy, neurofeedback, or other supportive modalities.

Experience

Savanna brings a wealth of experience providing psychiatric care across the lifespan, supporting children, adolescents, adults, and older adults alike. She has trained in a variety of settings, including outpatient clinics, inpatient psychiatric units, and community-based programs, giving her a broad perspective on mental health care. Throughout her training, she has conducted comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, developed individualized treatment plans, and delivered evidence-based care tailored to each person’s unique needs. Savanna is especially passionate about making mental health care accessible and compassionate, helping individuals and families feel supported and empowered at every stage of life.

Education

Savanna earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of North Alabama and is a licensed, board-certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner in the state of Alabama. She completed her undergraduate studies at Auburn University, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and has since expanded her expertise through additional certifications. Savanna is a certified BLS provider, an IASIS microcurrent neurofeedback provider, and has training in qEEG brain mapping, all of which support her commitment to delivering comprehensive, evidence-based care.

Personal

Savanna was born and raised in Gadsden, Alabama, and she takes great pride in serving the community that helped shape who she is today. As the oldest of three sisters, she deeply values family, meaningful connections, and the sense of belonging that comes from being part of a close-knit community. Savanna is passionate about giving back to the place she calls home and is dedicated to supporting the mental health and well-being of her friends, neighbors, and community members.
