qEEG Brain Mapping

qEEG Brain Mapping

While qEEG, also known as “brain mapping,” has become a powerful tool for psychotherapists around the world, it has only recently become available to the people of Northeast Alabama – thanks to Noonday Therapeutic Center.

Brain mapping measures electrical activity in the brain, similar to how an EKG measures electrical activity in the heart. The report generated by the non-invasive test identities brain function and identifies depression, anxiety, insomnia, memory problems, and other more complicated ailments. It can also recognize if a patient has difficulty paying attention, impulse control issues, poor problem-solving skills and trouble managing emotions.

A brain map gives our therapists valuable information they can use in building your personal treatment plan.
