Anna enjoys working with women of all ages, especially those who are transitioning from teenage years to young adulthood. Change can seem scary, but being able to walk alongside these women and seeing them make it to the other side gives her great joy.
Prior to joining Noonday, Anna worked in a substance use setting, spending time with pregnant women and mothers struggling with addiction as well as with the men in the same program.
Anna is a graduate of Samford University with a Bachelors of Arts in Human Development and Family Studies. She received her Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Anna is an Associate Licensed Counselor under the supervision of Megan Campbell, as well as a Nationally Certified Counselor. She will begin training in Somatic Experiencing soon, which will prepare her to help clients work through their bodily reactions to trauma.
Originally from Charlotte, NC, Anna decided after graduating from college to make Birmingham her home. She has a goldendoodle named Waylon. On the weekends she enjoys taking Waylon on walks and cooking.
