Areas of Professional Interest

As a master’s level counseling student, Brevard is interested in anxiety, depression, and processing the struggles of life. She believes that counseling creates a space for individuals to feel validated, challenged, and encouraged, and that through this process, individuals can overcome adversity to truly thrive.

Experience

Prior to joining Noonday, Brevard worked for the Dekalb County Children’s Advocacy Center serving families and children. This position focused on providing supervised visitation and safe exchanges in a safe, neutral environment.

Education

Brevard graduated from Auburn University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science degree. She received a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health from Jacksonville State University. Is currently in the post masters certification program at Troy University and will complete this in July 2024. She has participated in EMDR training.

Personal

Brevard and her husband, Peyton, have two dachshunds and enjoy trying new foods and spending time outside or with friends and family.
