Areas of Special Interest
Callie is passionate about walking alongside individuals as they navigate life, with a heart rooted in faith and sympathy for each person’s unique story. She values the integration of biblical truth with evidence-based practices, believing that true healing involves the mind, body, and spirit.
She has a strong interest in trauma-informed care and enjoys incorporating approaches such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support clients on their healing journey. With experience working with children and adolescents, she strives to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to build resilience, develop healthy coping skills, and grow in their identity and purpose.
Experience
Callie has experience as a School Social Worker where she supported children and adolescents in navigating academic, emotional, and social challenges while collaborating with educators and families to promote student well-being and success.
Callie also has experience conducting forensic interviews at a Children’s Advocacy Center, where she worked with children in sensitive situations involving trauma. This role strengthened her ability to approach each client with compassion, patience, and care while maintaining a trauma-informed perspective.
Education
Callie earned her both her Bachelor and Master of Social Work at Jacksonville State University and is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). She is currently pursuing her LICSW through Clinical Supervision.
Personal
Callie loves the Lord and is passionate about living out her faith in both her personal life and her work with clients. She considers it a privilege to walk alongside others in their healing journey.
In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband as they prepare to welcome their first baby. Callie enjoys sewing, baking, drinking coffee, taking her dog Archie on walks, and spending time with friends and family.
