Areas of Interest

I have a heart for working with children and adolescents of all ages, supporting families through difficult seasons, and helping parents navigate advocacy for their child’s unique needs. I also have a special passion for working with women as they navigate the joys and challenges of motherhood, postpartum, and the many demands and transitions of everyday life.
My desire is to create a safe, welcoming space where individuals and families feel seen, heard, and understood. I want each person to know they have someone they can trust, someone who will listen without judgment and walk alongside them through the hard things. It is my privilege to offer compassionate care while pointing others toward the hope, truth, and grace found in Christ alone.

Experience, Education and Training

I hold a master’s degree in Counseling from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). Before becoming a therapist, I spent 12 years as a school counselor, a role I absolutely loved. During that time, I developed a deep passion for working with children, partnering with families, and helping parents advocate for their children.

Personal Life

Outside of counseling, I am married to my best friend, Austin, and am a mom to three children. Being a mom is my greatest joy. I am an avid runner and walker and love getting outside every day. I also enjoy reading and listening to audiobooks and podcasts, and spending time with family and friends. I enjoy going to church and being involved in gospel community.

"My passion in counseling is to create a safe, grace-filled space where clients feel heard and supported as they navigate life’s challenges, while pointing them to the truth that our ultimate hope, healing, and security are found in Christ alone."
