Areas of Professional Interest:
Carol Grace has a deep passion for supporting her clients through trauma-informed therapy, helping them feel safe, understood, and empowered on their journey to healing. She also draws on cognitive-behavioral approaches to guide clients in building practical skills and strategies to navigate life’s challenges. Additionally, she finds great fulfillment in family counseling, helping families strengthen connections, improve communication, and foster understanding across generations.
Experience & Education:
Caroline graduated from Samford University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology in May of 2023. She then completed her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling at Jacksonville State University in Summer of 2025. Caroline has training in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) and specializes in trauma, anxiety spectrum disorders, and interpersonal relationships. Additionally, she is currently pursuing doctoral studies and board certification in Neurofeedback. She currently has completed a 30-hour didactic course and 10-hour mentorship in Neurofeedback. Further, Caroline has completed training as an IASIS microcurrent technician.
Personal:
Caroline enjoys spending meaningful time with her family, whether sharing meals, stories, or simply enjoying each other’s company. She has a genuine curiosity and enthusiasm for learning new things, always eager to explore and grow. She also has a soft spot for her calico cat which could be described as a mild obsession.
