Areas of Special Interest
As a therapist at Noonday, Julia strives to provide thoughtful, evidence-based care by integrating practices and perspectives that are attachment-based, trauma-informed, person-centered, and grounded in a person-in-environment approach. She believes that understanding a client means looking not only at what they are experiencing, but also at their relationships, past experiences, strengths, and the environments that have shaped them. Julia values creating a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard and understood while helping them build insight, strengthen relationships, and develop healthy ways of navigating life’s challenges.
Experience
Before joining the Noonday team, Julia gained experience working with children and adolescents in a variety of settings. During her graduate training, she completed an internship at Big Oak Girls’ Ranch and later served as a Support Specialist at Camp Crestridge for Girls. These experiences allowed her to work alongside children, adolescents, families, and other helping professionals and further shaped her passion for supporting young people through compassionate, individualized care.

Julia earned her bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Science with a minor in Psychology from Samford University. She went on to earn her Master of Social Work from Samford University and is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the state of Alabama.
