Areas of Professional Interest
Megan is especially interested in the areas of neuroscience, anxiety, trauma and play therapy. In her role at Noonday, she enjoys utilizing her interest, skill and knowledge in these areas to help her Noonday clients through the challenges they are faced with so they can become the best possible version of themselves.
Experience
Over the course of her career, Megan has worked in numerous outpatient, in-home, school and hospital settings. She has experience working with children, adolescents and adults.
Education
Megan holds a master’s degree in Community Agency Counseling from the University of Montevallo. She is a licensed professional counselor in the state of Alabama, as well as a licensed professional counselor – supervisor. She is a certified Synergetic Play Therapist and is AutPlay certified. She is a Registered Play Therapist. Additionally, Megan is pursuing certification in neurofeedback and QEEG brain mapping.
Personal
Megan and her husband, Mike, have two children. She enjoys spending time with her family and reading.
